Machine Data Acquisition and Diagnostics in the IoT age
Stream Machine Data from Anywhere into Anything
Accurate, timely and accessable machine data is valuable. It makes effective machine and power circuit diagnostics possible, avoiding costly downtimes or further machine damage.
Ascenix Instruments provides the industry’s most efficient machine data streaming device, iProbe, embedded with a proprietary data compression algorithm and cloud connectivity tools. iProbe can seamlessly interact with any machine diagnostic system or software as the raw data, i.e. 3-phase voltage and current waveforms, is streamed in a compressed format.
Ascenix Instruments is also a reseller of market’s leading asset condition monitoring system, i.e. Artesis MCM, based on model based fault detection technology through machinery power signals.
Open Product Platform
Ascenix Instruments is committed to developing open product platforms for machine data streaming with standardized interfaces which readily integrate into overall solutions through cloud running software. It envisions becoming a major contributor in the development of a new, open, worldwide machinery data exchange for collective machine learning and intelligence which would further lead into autonomously collaborating machines. It caters to the needs of an engineer in a new era of "makers"; in which design, implementation and mass scaling may only require the engineer's own intellectual work, as he or she expects all the other tools to be available and affordable.
Deployed with minimal complexity and embedded cellular network connectivity, Ascenix DAQ devices do not require immediate interfacing with existing industrial networks. They do, however, provide standardized interfaces (serial buses, XML transfers, etc.) into their system at every level, becoming DAQ and communication hubs as needed. The acquired data at the device level is transferred in raw or highly configurable spectral formats. They are true plug-n-play connected devices which can self-form a system or be part of any existing system, yet priced individually to also fit into operating expense budgets.
Ascenix' Software as a Service Platform available on the cloud provides tools for device network management and fully user configurable data visualization dashboard.
Ascenix Instruments also aims at providing its customers an end-to-end solution through teaming up with partners at every level.
Machinery diagnostics and condition monitoring is one that Ascenix has its roots from. It has ties with Artesis, the pioneer in model based failure prediction technology, since its early foundation years as a business development partner. In fact, Ascenix Instruments' inspiration to build connected, open platform DAQ systems developed while searching for accessible high speed DAQ devices to integrate with the new mobile and hardware independent Artesis products. Ascenix targets other OEM applications in the machinery condition monitoring segment. One such application is a synchronous vibration data acquisition device, VSync, developed per partner’s specifications.
The PQ and Event Recording features, i.e. continuous and high resolution 3-phase voltage and current time signals, offered on the cloud software level makes it possible to run power distribution network wide troubleshooting and failure prediction analysis. This level of detail is not currently available through any other system in the market making iProbe a unique choice for grid operators.
